OUR Winter SCHEDULE
 Children 1-3 years and a cargiver: Our Time - Away We Go featuring songs about planes, trains, and other ways to travel. Singing, imitating sounds, rhyming, and object identification foster language skills, while creative movement develops a sense of balance, timing, and spatial awareness. Listening, turn-taking, and group dances encourage blossoming social skills. Home Materials: Two CDs, two story books, Home Activity Book; and an instrument. Limit 12 children, each with their caregiver attending 1 day per week for 45 minutes for 15 weeks.
Children 3-5 year olds: Imagine That - Toys I Make, Trips I Take: designed for active, energetic, enthusiastic, and imaginative children ages 3 to 5. Classes encourage socialization, sharing, and participating in group activities. Preschoolers create imaginative, storytelling scenarios with music—go on an imaginary trip to a toy shop where the toys come to life. Each week provides preschoolers one uninterrupted 30 minute session of imaginative play that's guided in a very specific, sequential way—with a special sharing time with parents in the last 15 minutes of class. Home Materials: Two books, Two Home CDs, a Family Activity Book, instrument.
Children 5-7 year olds: Young Child - Using a small-group approach to music education, Kindermusik for the Young Child provides a pressure-free class where your child can develop a strong musical foundation by learning the concepts, language, notation, and vocabulary of music and its greatest composers. Children learn to read music notation and play songs on 3 instruments, Glockenspeil, Dulcimer, and Recorder, over a 4 semester program. Students new to Young Child enroll in Young Child 2. Returning students enroll in Young Child 4. Students meet for 1 hour weekly for 15 weeks. Parents and siblings join the class for the last 10-15 minutes to enjoy activities together.
Family Time - multi-age family class: For families with children newborn - 6 years old. 45 minutes once a week for 4 weeks. Make Way for Music: is a romping, rolling, stretching good time for the whole family. This fifteen-lesson unit of Family Time will explore lots of different ways to move and enjoy music togetherHome Materials: Two Book, two Home CDs, Family Guide, and two instruments.
Weather closing policy:
If Springboro schools are closed, No Morning Kindermusik classes that day.
Cancellation of evening classes will be determined as the day progresses.
